Ministry of National Defense issued a press release to clarify “the letters of notification of recalculated benefit payment for retired military personnel which had been edited and printed was delivered by mail yesterday.” (July 1st, 2018)
Ministry of National Defense claimed today (1st) that the Ministry had finished 205,837 copies of letters of notification of recalculated benefit payment for retired military personnel on June 30, and they had been delivered by mail yesterday after being edited and printed.
Ministry of National Defense claimed that retired military personnel could apply for appeal to Executive Yuan or Ministry of National Defense by the Ministry or any Command Headquarters with the application of appeal within 30 days from the second day of receiving the letter if there would be any inquiries.
The Ministry had established a multi-channel telephone consultation with Veterans Affairs Council, and had also provided Military Retirement Pension System Q&A, For Dummies, and other notices about appeal on the official website as a service for retired military personnel.
